My Pilgrimage for Beauty

Sutton's Bay Hammock

[Sutton’s Bay, Michigan – Day of Silence, June 2011]

Beauty.  My eyes are beginning to see it more clearly, my ears are starting to comprehend it more fully, my nose and tongue are discovering it.  And I have gone down a road of no return.  I’m on an inexhaustible pilgrimage for more.

May the noise in my life be less, so that I might live a story with a beautiful backdrop.  One filled with wonder, mystery, flavor and sights yet unseen.

“Religion points to that area of human experience where in one way or another man comes upon mystery as a summons to pilgrimage.” -Frederick Buechner
