Tales of a Wonder-Filled Life

And Mary said,

“My soul magnifies the Lord,

And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.”

Luke 1:46-47

“As you contemplate the boundless love and mercy God has shown you, you will want to sing His praises as Mary did.  Spontaneous praise is authentic praise.  It does not have to be manipulated or orchestrated.  It is a real and personal expression of a grateful heart and wonder-filled life that has encountered holy God!”    -Henry Blackaby

It’s all been sinking deeply into my heart this season and this week that I leave for India.  Because of this day, I get to live in boundless love and mercy.  And I get to tell that Story.

I’m thankful for my family and friends that help me live in love.  And for kids in my life that remind me to live in wonder.

I’m also deeply thankful for laughter.  For example, our time has also filled with awkward family photos….

…and some gaming.  I just had to make a choice on the cheesiest pick-up line.  Any guess which one I chose?

Merry Christmas from my hometown to yours! (Yes, I do have a weird obsession with lawns filled with an inflatable Christmas)

May He be the joy of our longing hearts now and forever.
