About Josh & April

Thanks for stopping by! Josh and I (April) met in 2011, married in 2012 and moved to the city of Detroit where we bought a historic house in need of a lot of work. We have 3 little boys ages 4 and under and are expecting our fourth- a baby girl.  We love people, we have our best days surrounded by kids, we like to embrace our inner nerds, we live to throw great parties and we desire to serve others with our lives. Before we met we went on great adventures, traveled the world and dug deep into ministries. Our days together were quickly filled with children and we’re so grateful for this chance to be parents and impact our neighborhood. If our days are spent sleeping in the dirt in India or tucking our own small children into beds here in the states, we hope to live our story in a way that brings honor to our Creator.

  2. April, I love your blog! I love you!! I haven’t been on here in awhile… a long while. But I love your writing, I love your challenge and I love your outlook on life. You always know how to challenge my core. The “who I am” and what I stand for. Thanks. And keep doing it.

  3. April, I LOVE your blog. I just skimmed the whole thing and can’t wait to go back and read more. Thanks for sharing about our family and parents divorce, it helped me.
